This Founding Selection brings together high-quality, handcrafted brushes that we regularly use in our own studio work. This isn't a line manufactured specifically for the brand, but rather painting tools chosen after extensive and continuous use in complete restoration and decorative painting processes, applying our own handcrafted paints.

Each set includes two brushes, presented in a burlap bag and accompanied by a Gustavian & Gold label, as part of an edition crafted with meticulous attention to detail. Availability is limited to ten sets, with a maximum of two units per person, in keeping with the handcrafted, non-serial nature of this selection.

The bristles have a firm and stable hold that maintains their shape and cohesion even after prolonged use. These professional brushes do not shed bristles or deform over time, allowing for a consistent, controlled, and precise response in thin layers, glazes, and nuanced finishes.

The brushes are acquired in small batches and individually inspected in our workshop before being marked. Only those brushes that meet our quality and performance criteria are included in this selection. The engraving is done manually, piece by piece, after each tool has been verified, so the position of the marking may vary slightly between brushes. These differences are part of the individual character of a hand-marked tool.

Recommended use: Legacy Paint artisan paints, antique wood and furniture, decorative surfaces and signature finishes, thin layers, glazes and controlled patinas.
