Legacy Paint Master-Formulated Duo: A high-density Emulsified Encaustic and Velours Mineral Wax presented in their foundational studio packaging. This Spanish artisan matter, composed of raw mineral resins and pure olive oil, is a non-industrial tool for fidedign 18th-century reinterpretation. A traceable, small-batch system for surface architects and master ateliers focused on bespoke furniture legacy.

THE CULMINATION OF A SPANISH MILESTONE

This set is the starting point of our house: a foundational edition of only 12 units designed for those who seek the physical truth of color. Here there is no industrial chemistry or synthetic resins; only an artisanal practice that recovers the technical secret that Leonardo da Vinci himself failed to stabilize.

Based on the encaustic technique rediscovered by researcher and artist José Cuní in 1962—following the trail of Vicente Requeno's treatises—we have achieved a living material that endures. Formulated in our small workshop, this collection uses noble ingredients such as extra virgin olive oil, waxes and pure resins to achieve historical dignity in every finish.

COLLECTION OVERVIEW

THE SCIENCE OF COLD ENCAUSTIC
The recovery of saponified wax: the definitive union between mineral resilience and the flexibility of mill-pressed oils.
MASTER EMULSION — 150 ml
The Cunit Legacy: A wax cream emulsion, studio-formulated with water and Spanish extra virgin olive oil.
Organic Matter: Acts as the technical core of the collection, allowing color to fuse with the wood through a deep physical bond.
Studio Use:
Softens transitions and creates mineral glazes of exceptional transparency.
Functions as an intermediate layer to separate color strata without blocking the pore.
Enables the creation of bespoke patinas by integrating with natural pigments.
VELOURS DU TEMPS WAX — MATTE — 120 ml
Primordial Matter: A mineral wax inspired by the "velvet of time," emulsified with olive oil and ground rock minerals.
Historical Finish: Provides an extra-matte, breathable seal; it adds no plastic sheen and does not alter the vibration of the tone.
Honest Consistency: A living texture that varies between firm and creamy depending on the temperature and the specific batch of natural wax.
MASTER APPLICATION PROTOCOL
The technical gesture to master the matter:
Museum Glazes: Dilute a small portion of the Master Emulsion with distilled water to achieve an almost imperceptible veil.
Pigment Patinas: Incorporate raw earths or pigments directly into the wax cream. The technical saponification fixes the color with a powdery, ancient appearance.
Natural Transitions: Use the pure Emulsion to blend two tones, eliminating harsh cuts and achieving mineral depth.
Technical Protection: Apply Velours du Temps Wax with a brush or cloth. Allow the minerals to saturate the fiber and remove excess after a few minutes for a dry, silky touch.
ORIGIN & PRESERVATION
Mill-Pressed Oil: Due to the use of virgin olive oil, the tone may oscillate between gold and green depending on the harvest, certifying its purity.
Limited Production: No industrial stock exists. Each batch is formulated in our atelier only when the matter demands it.
Stability: Optimal shelf life is 6 months thanks to natural preservatives. Always store in a cool place, protected from direct light.
